I discovered this great restaurant by chance and am so happy I did! Country Diner is a gem in the Lancaster area. It has none of the franchise feel and yet an amazing eclectic menu. Every comfort food you could hope for is available at Country Diner. The staff is consistently personable and professional. There's no rush here and no agonizing wait for your food. This place is the perfect blend of cozy and surprising. I'm glad I took a chance on this unassuming little spot.

This establishment was nice and clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. My issue was not with them but more the food and it could have been that it was nothing like I expected it to be. I have been craving NACHOS for weeks and decided to try theirs...NOTHING like I had hoped for or expected ...really different and just wrong...I also ordered the tortilla soup and it was different because of the lime... unexpected but may be traditional? The chocolate shake was good though...I had to go next door to get a better straw though.... Will I go back? Probably not

Underappreciated diner food at a great price. Great breakfast selection. Service is fast and friendly. Get here before 9 AM on weekends if you want to beat the crowd, or wait and have brunch. The food is good, but it is diner fare with some delicious Mexican items and a good lunch selection. Cozy atmosphere with big booths and lots of natural daylight.
